India Yet to bag Gold in Rio OLYMPICS 2016, Stop Sharing False Win for Dipa Karmakar

Congratulations all the spoof Makers and News outlets who don’t care a shit about what is going online. According to a post (that appears fake) doing the rounds of social media, Here's congratulating all the WhatsApp forwarders on a huge success of bagging 2 gold medals for India till now in Rio Olympics 2016.

The false Win of Gold for India by Dipa Karmakar is going viral all over the social networking sites. Whereas she is the first Indian to make the cut for the individual vault finals in her debut Olympic Games after finishing 8th in the qualifying round. As the top-8 made the cut for the medal round, she had just done enough to secure her stand in the finals scheduled for August 14.

It is such a shame and I would like to know where all the ethics of Journalism go while making such things up. These social networking sites make vulnerable grounds for misleading people and to spread false information that one can assume to be true. Applications such as WhatApp are growing and are popular in transmitting information which is uncontrolled. This is how technology is being misused nowadays. While political parties have always been using it as there “Bhramastra” for their Campaigns, people now have not spared Sports as well.

I think such agendas can be only be stopped when people used their mind and don’t just gulp whatever is served in the platter.
